Wine & Supper Club
You are invited to the Spanish-themed Lake Yard Wine & Supper Club on Tuesday 22 October at 7pm.
Come and enjoy a delicious three-course themed menu and sample wines from around the world at the place you love the most.
This session will have a Spanish theme, introducing food and wine from the Iberian peninsula:
Starter – Tapas Platter
Gambas Pil Pil, Calamari, Mini Chorizo Poached in Red Wine, Blistered Padron Peppers, Papas with Moio Verde.
Main – Carrillada
Slow Braised Pork Cheeks in Pedro Ximinez Sherry, Roasted Root Vegetable Purée, Patatas Pandaneras OR Seafood Paella.

Residing in England since 2005, Chad graduated in Travel and Tourism from The University of Cape Town and qualified further at WSET (Wine and Spirits Education Trust) in London. He has worked and learned from many of Master Sommeliers and bar managers since working for Hotel Du Vin Group. He has over 18 years’ experience in hospitality and wine sales trade knowledge. He currently works as a Wine Development Manager for Templar Wines, a local independent wine Merchant, who has been supplying Lake Yard Club and Restaurant with great wines for many years. Chad’s sommelier experience brings a greater depth of focus and knowledge in our quest to harmonise our food and wine propositions via a journey of various wine dinners planned throughout this year.
Tickets for this event are priced at £60 per person and include a welcome aperitif, a three course themed menu with each course perfectly paired with delicious wines specially selected for you.
