And while you gaze into each others’ eyes and play footsie under the table you get ‘get in the mood’ with some sultry, sensual jazz from Veronique Joly and Rob Palmer from 7pm.
Paris-born Veronique is an experienced jazz singer who started performing live at the age of 17 and paid her dues on the Paris music scene before moving to London in 1992. She has been involved in many diverse projects including co-writing and recording a song for Rick Stein’s French Odyssey BBC programme. She sings a mixture of smooth jazz, swing, funk, latin & soul ranging from gentle ballads and swing classics to upbeat sambas and jazz favourites. Husband and guitar virtuoso Rob Palmer will accompany her.
