Lake Yard will be recreating the sights, sounds and smells of Notting Hill Carnival this Bank Holiday Monday, 28 August with a Rum, Ribs &  Reggae Festival. Kicking off at 1pm, there will be live music and SOCA dancers and the sounds of (amongst many others) Bob Marley, Toots & the Maytals and Desmond Dekker will fill the summer air.  Foodwise there will be plenty of Caribbean cuisine, including barbecue jerk ribs and plenty of good-for-the-soul food. And any reggae event worth it’s saltfish wouldn’t be  complete without plenty of ice cold Red Stripe and rum cocktails. The festival will wind down around 6pm at which point you can shimmy back home or continue skanking into the night.
