Good news for those of you wanting to shed a few post-Christmas pounds, the Lake Yard kitchen will be temporarily closed from Monday 20th until Wednesday 22nd January due to essential maintenance.

It’s that time of year when the marina takes a well-earned breather. The weather’s rougher than piece of old rope, all the boats are in storage and everyone’s giving Dry January a go (at least until that half bottle of left over sherry finally wins out). While it’s relatively quiet we always take the opportunity to give the Lake Yard Restaurant & Bar a bit of TLC, with some new coats of paint, a sashay of decor and a general facelift that would put even Sharon Osbourne to shame.

As part of this refurbishment, our kitchen will also be having an overhaul and will closed for a few days from Monday 20th January until 6.30pm on Wednesday 22nd. The good news is that the bar will remain open throughout so come and join us for a drink.
